Knicks beat Warriors in record night

David Lee had career highs of 37 points and 21 rebounds in the Knicks' 138-125 win over GS

David Lee had career highs of 37 points and 21 rebounds, Chris Duhon had a Knicks' franchise record 22 assists, and the Knicks rolled past the Warriors 138-125.

The Knicks had a record 82 points in the first half, and then had 56 in the second half to finish with 138.

"Chris Duhon did a great job of finding me on the pick-and-roll,'' Lee said. "And he found me about 18 or 20 times.''

Lee had a 30-20 game for the! first time since former Knick Patrick Ewing had 36 points and 21 rebounds against the 76ers on January 23, 1994.

The Knicks and Warriors recently made a trade in which the Knicks sent guard Jamal Crawford to Golden State for forward Al Harrington, who had 36 points and 12 rebounds. Crawford had 21 points and 10 rebounds for the Warriors, C.J. Watson had 23, and Corey Maggette led them with 32 points and 12 rebounds.

The Knicks only dressed 7 players that game, and 6 of them scored in double figures. 2nd year forward Wilson Chandler had 16, Tim Thomas had 15 {and 9 rebounds}, Quentin Richardson had 14, and Duhon had 12. The only other one that didn't was Anthony Roberson, who had 8.

Great game for the Knicks.

P.S. Yesterday was my birthday and I got to see Forever Strong, and then I went and got NCAA Football 2009 for PSP. Good game.
