Practice hit by rain

Formula One drivers practice session for the Italian Grand Prix has been dampened .

Adrian Sutil was fastest at the first free practice session for the Italian Grand Prix. He clocked the fastest lap in a time of 1 minute, 32.842 seconds. After the German's drive there was a heavy downpour followed with 16 minutes left in the session. As a result of this drivers had to find cover in the garages. Giancarlo Fisichella finishes second, half a second off the pace and Mark Webber was third fastest.
